Privacy & corrections.

HV Little Library itself sets no advertising trackers, analytics or cookies. There are no forms and no accounts. We do not directly record your visit.

Like every website, ours sits on a web host that keeps standard logs, including IP addresses. We do not use them to identify anyone.

Videos, audio, social posts and maps stay closed until you open them. When you open one, that provider — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Omny or Google Maps — receives technical information about your device, under their own privacy policy.

If you are pictured, named or quoted here and would like something corrected, credited, updated or removed, please email hvlittlelibrary@gmail.com or speak to any volunteer at the library. That address is also where to write about anything to do with personal data on this site.

You are welcome to change your mind about a photograph, letter or story. A parent or guardian may ask on behalf of a child, and family may ask on behalf of someone who has died. We will not ask you why.

We will take it off this website. We cannot always reach copies that have been shared elsewhere — in news coverage, on social media, or in web archives — but we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.

We aim to reply within two weeks. We will listen and respond with care.
